Hatton had the tools to beat Mayweather, whether he still has or not remains to be seen.

Hatton has the tools to beat Mayweather but Mayweather has the tools to beat everybody. Anyone who beats Mayweather will have to be on top of their game.

Boxers need to start fighting all over the world again. I think a superfight in the Middle East would be wicked for boxing. And yes MMA will take over Boxing unless Boxing starts marketing itself better.

Mayweather for me is the best fighter ever.

I've not seen a more complete fighter on film.

A fighters quality is relative to the quality of their opponents.

                  - MAYWEATHER is the best fighter he's seen since THOMAS HEARNS

                  - MAYWEATHER V DE LA HOYA might be one of the biggest fights outside of TYSON since BENN V EUBANK II

                  - DE LA HOYA wont beat MAYWEATHER if he tries to swarm him

                  - NOBODY will beat MAYWEATHER if they try to swarm him

                  - DE LA HOYA has a "15% chance" of beating MAYWEATHER if he mixes up his jabs and uses "correct maneuvering, cute maneuvering"

                  - MAYWEATHER will go from being an "exceptionally good fighter" to a "great fighter" if he loses a close decision to DE LA HOYA but wins a return match

                  - MAYWEATHER will go from being an exceptionally good fighter to a "legend" if he loses decisively or gets taken out but wins a return match

                  - he fully expects MAYWEATHER to win decisively

he said some other interesting things such as, he sees the middle east as potential megabucks that could overtake the US market and he's thinking of coming back for exhibition matches over there and also promoting fights over there. he sees eastern europe gaining a strangehold on boxing and UFC becoming more mainstream than boxing
at last something near me to watch but dont know if i am going.

anybody with two hand and feet is enough to beat mayweather but its how you use them that counts

I think De La Hoya moving behind his longer jab is a great idea, the problems comes with outcuting pbf, which does not sound very plausible.

but yeah pump that jab up and down relessently and cut off the ring

De La Hoya would have to outwork Floyd. Not try and KO him with one shot, but just throw more and try to land more. He would have to be in tremendous shape. Floyd chooses his shots wisely due to bad hands. Oscar has to outwork him but don't chase him. I wouldn't be suprised if Floyd had some kinda plan to confuse DLH. Oscar is in trouble now cuz Floyd Sr. is helping Floyd. I'm sure Floyd Sr. knows DLH's weaknesses, and what he isn't ready for.
