It's just funny how they'll ask him one question and he turns it into a question he wants to answer.

I just dont see how Floyd's record could even come close to someone like Sugar Ray Robinson's. His lack of fights + early retirement will always make me doubt him.

So I'll be routing for Oscar on May 5th, although I cant see him beating Mayweather lol.
I can, he's too small for Oscar. Hell he's too small for some WWs as well. That's probably the reason why he says he's retiring? I can see him losing to other 154s, Shane, Cotto and maybe even to a "trained and focused" Judah.

I believe he called out Hatton who said he needed more time, and Cotto's people didn't want any part of Mayweather at the time. So, naturally, PBF is going to move on to the fights that make $$$ sense.

As for Margarito, who called out PBF, didn't look great against Klottey. Which means PBF would've made Marg look like a true amature.

Now, if he easily and convincingly beats DLH, there will be a variety of reasons as to why DLH lost.

To me, DLH has been pretty honest and forthcoming in his reasons for the losses to the better fighters. So, I look forward to hearing his own reasons for the loss if PBF does indeed dominate him.

Yup that's the way I see it too. He's retiring because he knows he can't live up to his HYPES. Or maybe not, he'll probably go down in weight and fight there.

I post a thread about a month ago "PBF-DLH turning into winky-tito" with Mayweather may become invincible and unbeatable that night dominating Dela hoya for 12 rounds, well its possible now that floyd.sr and jr. have reconcile may had some effect, if it does happen, and castillo and judah prevailed over hatton and cotto, we may safely say Mayweather earned his place in history, there's no doubting his talent, we'd just wait and see what will transpired.

Unless PBF and Sr can change their past habits Sr will probably cause more of a distraction for Floyd than anything, interfering with Uncle Roger, and essentially removing the chance he had to win this thing by boxing for 12. Mayweather sr has always pushed his fighters to be more aggresive if he does this with little Floyd look out! We will either see Floyd's ass handed to him (likely)or many including myself will have to eat crow if he can take it to DLH, that is until his hands break.

I dont think its so much a distraction, Sr taught PBF everything he knows, there might be some some conflicts between Sr and Roger but that's about it. Sr is in perfect position of giving PBF the best possible advise he can get as he trained DLH for a few years.

Oscar reminds me of the old fighters. The ones that used to show eachother true respect and sportsmanship. I loved watching him own Mayorga.

Mayweather will be tempted back into boxing too easily. It's too hard for someone like him who claims to be one of the greatest of all time to just walk away like that. In a few years there will be a fighter claiming exactly what Floyd does now and Floyd would be forced into fighting him.

                      True.
It all comes down to EGO.

Floyd has p4p the biggest ego in the sport.

                      That plus $$$$.
He wants to become the next ex-fighter/promoter. He is modelling himself after Don King. But he wouldnt turn down a big payday against a big name fighter.

Why else would he already state that he would give Oscar a rematch? Its nothing but another fat check.
