    I hope Floyd loses...

I hope Floyd loses to Oscar on May 5th. Not because I'm a Floyd hater, I think he's a great fighter and a funny guy. But, if Floyd beats Oscar and retires I will never consider him one of the greatest p4p fighters of all time. I just dont see how Floyd's record could even come close to someone like Sugar Ray Robinson's. His lack of fights + early retirement will always make me doubt him.

So I'll be routing for Oscar on May 5th, although I cant see him beating Mayweather lol.

I see what you mean. Your basically saying "I want Oscar to win so we see more of Floyd". If Floyd wins has he said hes going to retire??

Not exactly but I cant see Floyd still wanting to fight after Oscar. Many will argue that he doesnt need to fight Hatton or Cotto to prove his legacy anymore. People see Oscar as that career defining fight.

ture if he does he still won't get the credit he deserves, if he does win which i doubt he needs to tko dlh so at least we can all start giving mayweather the respect that he deserves, i can't imagine his big mouth if he wins

If Floyd wins and retires he will be a HBO commentator and boxing writer that just trashes all the other boxers and still talking about how hes better than any boxer still fighting lol.

Yeah there's a few dvd's I think. Hamed had all the potential but basically got "owned" in "his only fight against world class opposition".

Floyd fans wanna hope Mayweather doesnt lose. Otherwise they will be subdued to "The Barrera treatment" which will be "Haha floyd got pwn3d like a ***** by DLH!!".

Hamed was ****y but in a better way then Mayweather. He used to humiliate his opponents but outside the ring he would give them respect. Minus Steve Robinson.

                  If the money's right....

Floyd has stated that this will be his last fight, unless....DLH asks for a rematch. Then....he said he would retire.

I, personally, wouldn't want him to retire so that he can really cement his claim as "best ever".

Then again, I don't want to see him pull a RJ or a SRL and come back and get KTFO.

I'd rather see him retire young, rich, undefeated, and with all his brain cells intact. Kinda like the way Lennox did it: rich, still young, and not disabled.

If he stays in the game as commentator, etc. he will always be dealing with the questions of his true potential.

If he suffers his first defeat to DLH, I'm almost positive he won't want to go out like that. I feel he'll exercise the rematch clause and will want to go out vindicated with a win and even more mega-millions.

It's a win-win for both of them no matter the outcome.

he still needs to fight cotto or hatton, but floyd thinks way over his head, whats funnier if he loses to Dela Hoya and retire, while cotto impressively knocks out Judah and hatton does the same to castillo, Mayweather couldnt KO judah and castillo.
