so your american suporting an american but you arent biasI suppose Nigel Benn is a harder hitter than Sam Peter too.. You red karma giving British pansy. Excuses, excuses, excuses.. How could I expect any unbiasedness here.. Most Brits Ive spoke to have actually told me that David Beckham is one of the greatest athletes in the world... Sad..Cant debate with people like you. Intellectually dishonest with yourself and others .. You put heritage and country before truth.
but a brit supporting a brit is bias
your an Imbecile
even more red karma coming your way!!Comment

I hugely doubt the validity of that. I dont know any English people who would say such a thing and there is no way in the world that many people from Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland would even admit to him being especially good, let alone one of the greatest athletes in the world.I suppose Nigel Benn is a harder hitter than Sam Peter too.. Sounds like something you made up on the hope that it'd help you look good in an argument...it didnt.Comment

my honest opinion is RJJ is not the greatest super middleweight ever....far from it...
His record is extraordinarily padded out with less than credible opponents and he only travels to fight within spitting distance of his home.
He beat Hopkins early in his career...so what....Hopkins lost his first fight to an unknown...
RJJ has avoided, intentionally or not, too many of the great super middleweights in his era..
a long unbeaten stretch of fights means nothing these days, especially when there are so many titles and bum fighters out there.
Anyone can look great knocking out these unknowns ... putting your hands behind your back and all the other crap....
How he has made a career without fighting a single great super middleweight fighter I have no idea.Comment

I think there is no doubt that Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank fought the best competition at 168 pounds. They certainly should be considered above Jones in the 168 all time rankings.
Benn fought: Sugar Boy Malinga (1-1), Mauro Galvano, Chris Eubank, Henry Wharton, Gerald McClellan, Vincenzo Nardiello and Steve Collins (Benn was shot by the time he fought Collins, the G-Man fight had really ****ed him up).
Eubank fought: Michael Watson, Sugar Boy Malinga, Nigel Benn, Graciano Rocchigiani, Henry Wharton, Steve Collins and Joe Calzaghe.
Steve Collins fought and beat a shot Benn and an off colour Eubank. Still not insignificant accomplishments.
Calzaghe fought: Eubank (past his prime, but still a handful), Reid, Woodhall, Starie, Sheika, Brewer, Mitchell and Lacy. Given his longevity as well and you have a fighter with a more credible claim (than Jones Jr) to be the greatest supermiddle ever.Comment
