Fighters record are quite accurate as far as I can tell.....the only ****ed up thing on boxrec is their computerized ranking system.

There are still fights where a fighter has been floored repeatedly and they have yet to list that underneath the fight.

I only look at boxrec to check an upcoming fight, someone's reach, or where they were born. I don't Parody my way through things.
Yeah they should say why it was a TKO......I agree. Also someone said they have inaccurate schedules which is also very true....they put the next opponent sometimes based on here say.

Its innacurate in regards to naming a fighers next opponent before it is actully official.
You will oftentimes see 2 or 3 fighters interchanged before it becomes official.

They also have the small confusing RTD and TKO in some older fights.

boxrec calls bull**** on a lot of fighters bloated records ( as introduced in the ring) moreso back in the ol' days

boxrec will list the correct record (alleged) and usually have a notation such as "Jones was introduced as being 27-3"

I'v found the actual records to be accurate, but you can't make conclusions about a fighter by looking at their KOs against as mentioned above.

benny leonard actually had 121 no decisions, those extra wins on his record are based on the opinion's of writers as to who won the fight. If you want to go by that standard, then pernell whitaker is 42-4 cuz he originally beat andrie pestriav and he won the "draw" against chavez.
Correct me if I'm wrong but in Benny Leonard's era fights which didn't end in a knockout were always officially called draws, but an "official unofficial" result for the ******** community came from an agreement from press row. So by the standard of the day those no-contests were in fact wins for Benny. By the time Sweet Pea suffered his injustices there was a judging system in place.

Benny Leonard? Was he boxing in the era of unlimited rounds or it's a draw?
