The records are correct, sometimes they get the outcome wrong slightly, IE the scorecards are sometimes mixed up, their rankings are terrible though - that's what's innacurate.

its not ****ed up at all

in fact id like to say "god bless boxrec"

it is a wonderful database, ive never found an inaccuracy on anyones record

the only thing people critize it for are its statistical formulas for ranking fighter.... which is a dumb criticism since everyone has thei own opinion about it and would never completely agree with boxrec anyhow...

it also lists prospective matches before they are actually signed, which other people dont like, but i love....

      for instance:

boxrec has chris byrd scheduled to fight paul maranacchio (22-2) in nassau ba***** on april 18th

which means boxrec and i are the only two people around who know about byrds next opponent

I agree with Hitman, you can't ask for anything as simple as boxrec, I doubt someone would have any difficulty finding someones record...

Besides the rankings, I believe the older the records are the more incomplete they are. But thats understandable with the older fighters.

They also put up rumored fights as upcoming bouts that sometimes don't happen.

They don't list all knockdowns in fights, and losses are deceiving.

I'm so sick of ****** *******s saying JLC was knocked out 4 times by punches and that his chin is glass. ****ing morons.....all of those losses were from cuts and they just see "TKO" and assume things.

There are still fights where a fighter has been floored repeatedly and they have yet to list that underneath the fight.

I only look at boxrec to check an upcoming fight, someone's reach, or where they were born. I don't Parody my way through things.

something like boxrec is so big and detailed that there are bound to be mistakes...just comes with the territory...however it's one of the best things we've got in this sport

benny leonard actually had 121 no decisions, those extra wins on his record are based on the opinion's of writers as to who won the fight. If you want to go by that standard, then pernell whitaker is 42-4 cuz he originally beat andrie pestriav and he won the "draw" against chavez.

Very innacurrate....specially when it comes to the early fights of the fighter. Understandable tho.
