Why is this "HBO SPOILING RESULTS" Thing such a BIG deal????

^^^^ exactly.
And I refuse to believe that any boxing fan prefers commentators spoiling fight results. I refuse to believe 70% of people prefer merchant opening his fat hole. The way I took it, HBO was just hating strait up on anybody that wanted to watch the showtime card after.Comment

actually it strikes me as HBO's idea to go ahead and give the Showtime results therefore defeating the purpose of those boxing fans that watched the HBO telecast to watch Showtime'swell... america is lazy. lol
At LEAST we can agree that HBO is doing this with the thought that the viewers want to know.
To be honest, I get a little angry when people start critisizing HBO for doing this, when that makes no sense.
You ALREADY chose HBO. What would telling you the results do for their business??? Nothing, they are doing it because, based on some sort of evidence, that their viewers WANT to know
... in short, it's not a stretch to say that their doing it to keep some eyes off of Showtime boxing programing in favor of theirs, sure it's selfish, but how else do you explain high PPV prices, etc? It's the nature of some of these greedy execs involved.Comment

It's annoying when you intentionally avoid everything that has to do with the other card.So you can watch the replay later, and not know the results beforehand. Then out of nowhere,Lamps ruins it for you. They should atleast give a warning.Comment

I posted this question on a similiar thread but got no answer... My question is, will HBO 'spoil' the results of the Klitschko-Austin fight when it re-broadcasts it at 10:00 pm? (the first broadcast is on at 5:00 then the second one at 10:00 Eastern Time)
HBO had this similiar situation when it broadcasted the Klitschko-Byrd fight last year. I watched the 5:00 live broadcast so I don't know if they spoiled it at 10:00.Comment
