Hypothetical: Floyd dominates DLH enroute to a wide UD...

Does he then rank in your top 10 P4P all-time? I'd put him top 5, I'm just curious to see if his haters would even acknowledge his greatness at that point.

They won't come out and say it. Not a chance. Inside they all know he's great, but refuse to admit it because "he's arrogant."

Floyd is easily the best in the sport right now in terms of talent and ability and i'll give him his due if he beats oscar and beats him impressively but to call him a top 5 or even a top 10 greatest of all time just because he beats a way past his prime De la hoya is borderline ******ity imo.

          Of course.

Top 5 of the past two decades, MAYBE if he looks outstanding against Oscar.

People will discredit his win by saying how much older Oscar is, how little he proved against Mayorga. All the physical ailments he has, etc. Mayweather wouldn't receive as much credit as some may think. Despite what other say, I think judgment will be out on Floyd even after a wide win.

yeah a past his prime oscar that many on here are claiming will knock floyd out and can beat him. but, you just proved my previous points, that when and if floyd dominates oscar, many on here will probably claim oscar was past his prime, and that floyd beat and old oscar. not saying that you are one of the guys on here that is claiming oscar will beat or knckout floyd, and that floyd can't hurt oscar, because i've never seen a post by you claiming this, so this response isn't directed at you, but you just happened to post something i could work off of, so don't take it personal.

Floyd would be in my top 50 if he beats Oscar. If he goes on to beat Hatton or Cotto, he'll make my top 25. But top 10? That's an insult to alot of great fighters.

If Floyd destroys De La Hoya and then goes on to defeat Hatton then yes he is in the top 5 p4p of all time in my opinion.
