    those aren't great numbers
    floyd does not sell fights
if you put oscar in with baldomir, compare what those numbers would be to floyds
    oscars numbers would triple floyds
i think hes just insecure and wants to be accepted by the fans but knows he never will be
    There you go!

Insecure, desperate (for attention), naive. Those describe how I see him.

Mayweather isn't clever enough or interesting enough to work the trash talker persona. You need to have more of a personality. Mayweather needs to show us he is a three dimensional person, make people really think he's an interesting guy aside from boxing.

Toney manages to do this, he has the whole "talented boxing genius with a horrible vice that holds him down" aspect to him and is pretty quick off the cuff with the insults (if only you'd understand them he'd be great). Mayweather doesn't have this material, or talent for slinging ****, to work with.

Mayweather needs to go for a humbler approach. He has some great qualities: he's a clean liiving guy with a tremendous work ethic and an honest fighter. He did not respond to Judah's foul tactics with dirty fighting of his own. He responded by boxing back with superior talent and class.

Mayweather should wisen up a little, see that imitating Roy Jones/Ali/whoever doesn't work for him and find his own original thing. He just comes across as an insincere poseur if you ask me.

He should just be himself which is an energetic, talented, and hard working athlete. No need to imitate; find out who you are and you'll find yourself becoming that person.

Those are solid PPV totals. No one else today sells like Oscar.

300-400 PPV sales are around the amount of what other PPV events that are successful are selling. Fights like Taylor-Hopkins, Hopkins-Tarver, Morales-Pacquiao, Mosley-Vargas, etc..
When your PFP number one best fighter in the world its not exceptable!

the problem with floyd is he is not getting the public/media's attention a pfp fighter should get, and acting that way he is really punching himself-out

Floyd has himself somewhat to blame, but even if he weren't such a jerk at times, would he even be mainstream star anyway?

Boxing in America isn't a mainstream sport. Look at most of the previous p4p #1 fighters since 1993. Whitaker had that abrasive attitude like PBF and wasn't a big star. Roy was the same way, although generally not quite as difficult with the media. Mosley had a more crowd-pleasing style than PBF, beat Oscar in an excellent fight, is far more easy going than PBF, but went back to fighting in ballrooms and on regular HBO after beating DLH, and didn't go back on PPV again until he fought DLH again. Hopkins is respected, but not a star.

DLH is a rare case. He won the gold medal, had that Hollywood type story with his mom passing, is a Mexican-American (Latino market in boxing is big), speaks Spanish and English, and has the looks to attract even women fans. Floyd may be nicknamed "pretty boy", but I don't see girls screaming for him like they do Oscar.

I've also watched that video with the rappers and the cute girls, he had a lot of inter-activity problem.

So, how would you describe him? The guy is clearly not normal.

                    -hyper activity?
                    -anti-social behavior?
                    -agoraphobia?
He only knows how to put on his circus act of hitting and hiding in the ring, beyond that he is a very dyfunctional complexed limited person.

Obviously you don't know what the **** your talking about. You don't win 4 titles in 4 different weightclasses hiding in a boxing ring.
