Depends on the steroid, and how you workout.

It can make you stronger and faster.

Testosterone levels also have a lot to do with CONFIDENCE. Thus, the reason why women cry so much and Men, at least real men, don't.

It helps you recover quicker from your workouts. That can be strength, but speed as well. Look at how many track and field athletes, including 100 meter runners, have been known to use or accused of it.

Supposedly, the stuff Barry Bonds was using was also helping his vision.

Growth Hormone supposedly helps to improve vision. One report I read said a man had 20/35 vision (or whatever it was), and got his vision back to
        20/20.

Well....in fact knockout punchers are usually not juicer built.

Except in the cases of Lacy, Tyson, Miranda and other guys who are simply physical specimens that Implies power because you can visually see them manhandle the other guy,

But look at guys like Tito and Chico that tells you right there You're born with power or you're not. Because I don't want to hear it.....those two are walking skeletons. They have zero muscle mass whatsoever.

What Barry Bonds proved, and that is "If" he was on steroids {since I don't want to get sued}, is that a "Great" player can rise to "God-like" ability. All those "Average" or "Good" players that became "Great" by hitting HRs, Barry put them back down below himself.

Get a person with the ability, add some steroids, bam, you got some Formula.
                  Great,

Andrenaline works against you in a fight...it depletes your energy.

Strength is unecessary if you're speedy.

The only way steroids increase stamina is through muscle recuperation. They have no bearing on aerobic respiration where you can somehow intake more oxygen that you're expending during a fight.

Confidence comes in the form of winning fights....not flexing in the mirror.

if a roided fighter beats a "non-roided" fighter, then the fight should be declared a NC.

                      Agreed.

But I still don't see the advantage of steroids in boxing.

Sure...I could see the advantage in MMA where you need fast twitch and strength to tear your opponent limb from limb....

But in Marques de Queensberry......I don't see the advantage.
