Your right on one thing. If Oscar goes down its fixed. Floyds not got the power to knock him down.

Hatton and Cotto should be there, but not Margarito. Floyd would give Margarito a boxing lesson.

Exactly. In my eyes, if Oscar goes down in this fight, I will severely lose respect for him and everything he's accomplished. And that says a lot because I respect De La Hoya, more so than almost any other fighter out there. If he goes down I will be seriously disappointed.

That said I'd really like to see Oscar take Floyd's ****ing head off. I don't hate Mayweather by any means. I just would like to see him lose, just once. I think losing can really push a fighter to higher levels, and I'd love to see if Mayweather is capable of anything higher than his current level.

I agree with Hatton and Cotto being possible opponets for Mayweather. If nothing more than to settle the various debates we see daily about it. Margarito's name should never even be mentioned in the same sentence with Mayweather's. Unless the sentence went something like this....

"Antonio Margarito hopes to get a job, cleaning Floyd Mayweather's cars, after he retires from boxing."

What about a fight with Mosley at 147?? Nobody interested in that?

I was just about to say that. Hatton, Cotto, or Mosley. I think Mosley would give Floyd the most trouble. He comes forward throws maybe even faster than Floyd at 147, and has great stamina. If Floyd ever gets beat I think someone like Mosley could do it, with the right gameplan. I don't think that big man bull**** will work, Baldomir was pure boxing with Floyd for the first 4 rounds and just fell apart. Judah had fast hands, and fast feet and took 3 or 4 rounds from Floyd.

I think after Mayweather beats De La Hoya, he'll sign to Golden Boy and fight Mosley in November. Another hotly-debated, highly anticipated clash of eras. I think Mosley is suited to be tougher for Mayweather than Oscar. As Oscar struggled (and lost) to Sturm. Mosley is a better fighter at his age than Oscar at this stage in their respective careers.

That's hard to say as neither guy has had a big fight for a few years. Oscar's beaten Mayorga, Shane has Vargas and Collazo. From those I wouldn't say for sure Shane's got more left.

You have got a point there. I just think if you take their last 2-3 fights and compare, physically Shane seems to be more skilled at the age. I think he has better footwork and a slight edge in speed.

Of course Mayweather/Mosley may never come off if Mosley keeps letting Jin run his life.
