          What about Sam Langford?

Given I have only seen highlights, and would need a Time Machine, but given reports, his name has to be mentioned.

Don't get me wrong, I loved Carlos Monzon. But "Marvelous" Marvin Hagler is without a doubt the greatest middleweight there ever was, aside from Sugar Ray Robinson of course.

Hagler never ducked anybody, he always fought the best there were out there. His hands were bricks and he had a chin of granite. I can't even watch Hagler/Leonard without getting pissed to this day, Hagler had Ray's ass beat and Ray got a gift decision, as so many "mainstream" fighters do.
