True but COME ON, Hagler is one of your 2 favorite fighters of all time and you thought he was a 147 pounder all this time?

Yeah no excuse, Zab is either not really a big fan of Hagler or he's as ****** as we've always thought. I wouldn't be surprised if he just isn't really a Hagler fan; a lot of boxers aren't into boxing history it seems.

True but u cant say the guy is one of your favorites and not know his weight.... not knowing Marvin was 160 is like not knowing Ali was a heavyweight

I know personally that Zab reads these forums adamently. He's a big fan of Boxingscene. He probably learned a few things from here. I know I did.

Perhaps he should have consulted with that other famous boxing historian from Brooklyn..........you know, the one that promised to eat the children of one of his opponents...................

Zab is a good guy (from what little I know) We used to chat on AOL and I met him a couple times.....he was different than, I think, the impression many get from him. Floyd is, too, for that matter. And Tyson REALLY is. Zab could tell you. Mike is a cool guy and a VERY GOOD historian, as good as ANYONE here on this board I think. (yeah, Zab should have checked in with Mike on the Hagler thing

The only excuse I could give is that he could have had a brainfart and just mistake welter with middle.
                    That happes.
