Pretty silly question to ask a boxing forum.
Have you seen the interviews with ex-NFL players violently going after the league to give them compensation for the injuries incurred on the field? Old hall-of-fame football players who can barely walk, some who have mental problems, massive spinal and joint injuries, etc.

You ban boxing you have to ban UFC, MMA, Kickboxing- all right off the bat.
Next you have to ban football for being violent, too.
Soon no contact sport is free of the risk of being outlawed.

No sport is safe. Every athletic contest carries with it the risk of being hurt. It is just more apparent with boxing due to the nature of the sport.

Not at all. Today the refs do a much better job of protecting the boxers than they used to, and the boxers dont fight as often.

Boxing is actually more dangerous than MMA because the fighters take more blows to the head, but even then, they know what they are getting into.

The NFL is actually the sport that is taking a huge hit from the media for its danger.

            You get the point.
some of these thing that you mention are really important to society so you cant take them out maybe stunt devil and car racing. anyway both stunt devil and car racing is much safer than combat sport because the people there are well equipt

I think they should limit fighters in fighting numbers of fight or see some coordination and other health stuff. UFC and Pride is more os a fighting than sport unlike boxing. If boxing was really fought in a boxing matter then there will be less people getting hurt

Have you seen what mcclennan is like now?

              Pretty bad..

Anyway if I can get enough on both sides ( hopefully 5.) I would like to organise a debate in the thunderdrome

Yet another question on this forum that doesn't require a answer. I think they would be more interested in this post on the Greenpeace forum.

Yes, asking this on a boxing forum. Real smart. Idiot.

The ban was easy to get round though.

You paid for a expensive meal and there would be boxing ring in the middle for those who wanted to watch
