He's made of pastry, there's no doubt about it, what I meant was that shot would have sparked him out even if he DID have a good chin, it wasn't Audley's chin that let him down tonight, it was his ability and over confidence.

That's okay, I just wanted to make sure.

And Sprott's better than his record, hindered by not being a big heavy... and not a big puncher. He's Euro class, but lacks a big punch. Just as well he wasn't up against someone with a good chin, huh?
I'd put it down as laziness rather than packing glass (no proof either way on that) personally. It was a hell of a shot and you don't see many people getting back up in the HW division from it.

You're right, I'm unfair in describing him lower than Euro class which he is. He'd get battered by a decent HW though ... which is luckly as no such animal exists.

Agree with you there, mate. I've got a lot of time for Michael Sprott though. IF he was a bigger man he might be something as he's quite skilled IMO. Plus, he's a nice guy, something that the man he KO'd tonight cannot claim.

True. I bet the Gammer and Skelton households had a good laugh after recent comments.

Sprott is a top bloke and I for one wish him well.

Did you see Skelton being interviewed afterwards? When have we ever heard Skelton slag someone off before?

Audley, Audley what am i to do with you? I still had faith in you even when you lost to Danny, and then Dominic Guinn. But after this knockout from not a known hard puncher i dont think u got wot it takes now.
He will continue to say he still thinks he can get there but i dont think so now. And then he will be 36 and then 37. Too late man. But by all means dont give up on the dream.
