Um, you guys with the "hahahahahaa owned" posts do realize that if you made a list of all the boxers who have tested positive then you'd have quite the list as well, right?

Roy Jones, James Toney, Fenando Vargas, etc etc ETC. Let's not cast stones in glass houses! heh.

It's a claim. To you...it seems like die hard evidence because you hate MMA.

To me...it's yet another person saying something. Just like Jose Canseco, the Balco rep in the Bonds case, Tommy Morrison, or any other accusee.

There are juicers, and there aren't juicers and theres more than 50 ****ing fighters in the UFC. To make blanket statements....like "everyone is juicing" is pretty ridiculous.

Tommy Morrison on Juicing and what he saw as a fighter.....

Well, there's no doubt some people were taking them, but I can't name any names for you. I definitely know about some of the top fighters, though. But just because you take them, doesn't mean you're going to get better. You have to know how to take them, or what to do while you're taking them, or otherwise it would just be a waste. But I want to reiterate what I said before, in a professional sport you should just be left alone. That's why people pay the big bucks to sit ringside at a heavyweight championship fight, they want to see somebody get hurt. People love violence, so call a spade a spade. Let 'em go, let 'em do what they want. It's not about what kind of example we're setting for our children, because it's gonna be twenty ****ing years before they are even playing baseball or whatever. So they'll grow a brain between now and then, and by then it will be forgotten.

I suppose by his testimony.....boxing has been tainted for years and these guys aren't real fighters right?

I don't buy that. There are a select few who juice in all sports.
I believe a trainer more than a fighter. A trainer has nothing to gain by saying he inyected over 50 people. However, a fighter who already looks like a ***** for taking steroids would take some of the negative heat on him if he made it out to be a widespread thing. By saying that many other fighters take them, he could be trying to get people to think that it's common, and that HE is not so bad for having done it, since it is a typical thing.

Ughhh, I did not want to get into the issue and just be like all the other asshats posting but let me explain something about steroids.
There is a wrong image of steroids in the professional sports, we are used to all these bodybuilder guys juicing and all thing that steroids serve only one purpose, which is to grow muscles and give more energy....but it is not so simple in the combat sports. One thing that many do not understand and that is especially related to boxing is that in boxing juice can hurt you more then give you gains. In a long 12 round fight the so'called "more energy, more powere" can only lead to heart attack and stroke, since steroids themselves dont give you energy but make your body produce more at the expense of hurting internal organs.
In UFC, since there is bigger wrestling element, juice can be more beneficial by gaining more muscle and strength at the expense of flexibility and mobility.
But the fighters pay dearly for that and in the end there is still more loss then gain. My theory is that they used steroids as a recovery product since they fight much more often then pro boxers. And if juice helps them avoid injuries in shows, I got nothing against that.
And btw, most of the pro athletes juice.

yes, but by the same logic steroids should be useful in training since you recover faster and can there train harder and more often.

Obviously, but that is how they are used.
Most of the athletes use them, get used to it.

                      That sucks for the UFC.
But i wouldnt mind seeing fighters use steriods in moderation.

Many years down the line, scienctists are gonna figure out how to genetically alter humans to get "super" human like strength.

it just the next stage of the game.

I dont really see what the big deal is about steriods. if people want to use it, let them, as long as they dont get carried away with it.
