I still think it's the beginning of the end for Pacquiao, and I hate to sya it because I like him so much. If he gets elected (and he has a great chance with his status), I feel he'll get distracted by Politics and possibly slack off in his training. He will never be fully focused on one thing, instead he'll be semi-focused on 2 at a time. Bad decision.

Yup that's what he said. And I'll say, screw him! ! ! I'm a boxing fan and I'm not gonna follow his life out of the ring.

I hope he gets beaten and humilated by the unbeaten unknown fighter he's gonna fight this April.

        why would he announce this?

the people there love him because of his boxing talent. If they know he's gonna retire if he gets elected, THEY WONT VOTE FOR HIM! lol

i hate to say it, but ur completely wrong.

Manny has a singing career, a family, a party life, and a bussiness career going on right now.

And he manages to remain 100% focused on fighting, and 100% fucused on all other things.

If he gets elected AND decides to fight on, he shouldnt have to much trouble handling it

That may actually be a good thing.
So pacman finally gets the things in perspective and gets hungry again.

Pac might be popular in boxing, but his not on politics. Pac just be a boxer.

Hey, if you disagree I can't hold that against you man. We can't always see eye to eye. And for the record, I hope you're correct. I really do.

Well that's what I'm thinking. I'm a Pac fan in the ring, make no mistake about that. But if a humilating defeat is the only way that can wake this guy up, why not?

Pac is just peaking and it's not a good time to get out of the scene.
