Boxing stories are always great for the movies. A movie about George Foreman would be another fascinating one. I also heard somewhere that they are looking at doing a Johnny Tapia movie, which is another amazing life story.

I know that 50 Cent is already signed to star in a boxing movie to be released in 2008, also starring Nicolas Cage.

And normally, the boxing scenes arent very realistic, but with WARD-GATTI, u cant really exagerate. Rocky type blows WERE actually landed.
Seriously when I was watching the fight on DVD everybody else was all like "Damn theese people are fighting like some kinda unreal rocky movies ****", lol they have all right's to do that in the movie.

This is a good thing for boxing. While some criticized the Rocky movie that recently came out making films about the sport make it more legitimate. As long as they make boxing movies people remember the sport, while not as popular as it once was, is the real deal.

I mean honestly...Rocky, Million Dollar Baby- all the movies slated to come out about boxing- it puts the spotlight back on the ring. How many movies are there about UFC or MMA. I don't mean cheesy action flicks but real movies? None. Boxing's history is one thing that will always keep it ahead of the competition.

I remember reading about a year ago that Jamie Fox was trying to put together a script where he would bulk up to play Mike Tyson. Not sure whats going on with that project though.

JUDAH still to this day says that MICKY WARD'S punch to the liver in the 8th rd of their fight was the hardest bodyshot he ever felt.JUDAH couldn't drop WARD during that fight and lets not forget that this was a prime JUDAH ,a confident,UNDEFEATED JUDAH.EMMANUEL AGUSTUS also says that the body shot that DROPPED him during their fight was the hardest he's ever been hit to the body, lets not forget AGUSTUS fought MAYWEATHER.So to say WARD was a CLUB FIGHTER is a little ridiculous to me .I also am curious to know who will be portraying JUDAH and GATTI and who will direct it.

I read about that and hope its true. Foxx looks a lot like Mike too.
