I wish someone would really take the time to do a Tyson biopic. His story is made for the movies, and its still continues with the now drug addiction.
    Warriors! Come out to Plaaay!

Micky has always been an icon over here. Actually it was his dramatic win over Reggie Green that segued him to eventual glory. I still maintian that the Green war was better than the first Gatti fight. I saw it live in NH and have wriiten about it many times. The best article I have seen on iT was by Ron Borges. Simply unblievable..."Two Lions in the Ring." Mine was entitled, "The Phone Booth Belongs to Micky." If you get a chance, try to see that fight. He has always been my favorite fighter since I first started following him on Lowell and when he took out Lou Veadder twice. Also, he w=is one of the most decent and most humble guys you will ever meet. He has time for everyone and knows where his roots are.

I have it. I got 37 of his fights and the HBO doc 'Streets of Lowell'. In fact, the very first time I had heard of Mick was the Green fight. But I gotta disagree with you; while the Green fight was unbeleivable, to say it's better than the first Gatti fight is a bit of an overstatement, imo. The Gatti I is one of the all time best fights, fight of the year and has one of the greatest rounds in boxing history. I think the fact that you were at the Green fight (which I envy you for that!) makes it probably seem better, to you, than the Gatti fight.

Either way you slice it, it was an AWESOME fight and I'd like to read your article, as I'm a huge fan of his and try to collect as much on him as I can.

oooooooooo thats awsome. another great boxing movie being made. i love boxing movies.

And normally, the boxing scenes arent very realistic, but with WARD-GATTI, u cant really exagerate. Rocky type blows WERE actually landed.

But I don't see Damon as a boxing trainer... but maybe im wrong
