That's my feeling about it too. It's going to be a very good fight, but a well prepared, highly focused Judah is a force to be reckoned with. He's never been lacking in natural talent - his speed is at least equal to Mayweather's.Last edited by Steelhammer86; 05-27-2007, 03:03 PM.Comment

Somewhere in this thread this has been talked about extensively..
My point on the subject has always been that Judah was foiled by Baldomir with the long, extended, straight right hand.
Baldomir has a very different arsenal from Miguel Cotto.
He throws deceptive lead left hooks and lead rights.
(Kostya caught Judah with a similiar shot.)
If I was Cotto I'd work on that one..
But I haven't seen much(anything) in Miguel to suggest he's capable of throwing this weapon.. They can work on it if they want - he's not elastic enough to let it fly though..Last edited by Addison; 05-30-2007, 10:51 PM.Comment

intersting considering that cotto is the overwhelming favorite according to the vegas odds....
i think its fashionable for people to pick judah here cause he is a good fighter and they want to say "i told you so" if he pulls off the upset.. if he doesent then they can just say "oh same ol zab, didnt come ready"
its just no fun to pick cotto i guess but i see him winning this fight by TKO in the 9th or 10th round... until i see someone break cottos will im not gonna bet on it happening... as for breaking judahs will... we all know how that goes
just an FYI, vegas odds are as follows
cotto -400
judah +325
give or take depending on where you go, odds will probably shift towards fight time as zab is probably a little too good for people not to throw 100 bucks on him hoping to walk away with 425.Comment

Cotto was ahead by 50 or 60 votes at one point.
Good post, I my have to lay some cash down.Comment

Not sure who I like in this one. Initially I thought Zab's combination of speed and power would take the relatively untested Cotto by surprise, and while I still think that's a definite possibility, I just don't trust Super enough to declare him the favorite in this fight. He's far from poised in the ring at times, and if Cotto can do serious damage with some of those heavy punches of his in the early rounds, I wouldn't be surprised to see Zab lose his spirit. Like I said, I've been going back and forth on this fight, but if I had to make I pick I would go with Judah by UD. He just has to fight smart and keep his composure.Comment
