Don't worry, Cotto will beat Zab much more impressively.

    He'll stop him.

Judah is going to be in the best shape (and focus) of his life, maybe better than for mayweather. If he loses he becomes a gatekeepe, if he wins he is back in the mix.

Cotto is going to be all business too: biggest fight of his career so far
      Agreed, 100%.

Judah is fighting for his career and Cotto has a chance to one-up Mayweather with a stoppage win. If Mayweather beats and DLH and Cotto stops Judah, who wouldn't want to see PBF-Cotto in the fall???

      Besides Floyd...

Yet he continuosly is given these oppurtunities after major losses. I have never seen a fighter given chance after chance. I especially couldn't beleive the fact that he still got the Mayweather fight after the Baldomir loss. I think that was more on Floyd taking the safer fight knowing that Zab would flame and despite his talent was the lesser threat given his track record.
Spinks is p4p material, and at the time held the undisputed 147 championship, you cant say that, just because you dont like spinks or the way he fights, you cant sit here and say the unidisputed WW Championship holder wasnt a p4p guy, espeically coming off of his beating of mayorga and hed just beat judah previously.

Mayweather had to take the fight with Judah because...IT WAS ALREADY SIGNED. Besides, that fight was huge in the black community, everybody in the hood knew that fight was gonna take place, that fight was basically for floyd to show zab he was the HNIC within his division. Which is a reward no belt can give you.

This isn't breaking news, I reported this on February 12th (Tuesday) morning: OLD NEWS

I think Zab will be a good opponent for Miguelito and his speed will present a bit of a problem that he'll have to adjust to but I expect Cotto to win TKO5.

              - Two marquee names

              - Classic puncher vs. boxer, power vs. speed matchup

              - Neither have granite chins

              - Judah's brashness vs. Cottos quiet professionality

              - Plus the fact that this could go either way

              I'm pumped for this one!!

Daaaaaaaaaaamn just when people start saying Cotto hasn't fought a big puncher in over a year he picks the biggest puncher at 147. This is a toss up fight to me. If Judah wins it's by round 6. Anything over that and Cotto takes it.

Exactly!!! He also beat Roman Karmazin after the long layoff to become a beltholder at 154 in his first fight back. I don't eveen like watching Spinks but he was a top 10 P4P fighter when Judah dethroned him at WW. That's said I think this is a bad matchup for Cotto. It's still a winnable fight for Cotto but it won't be easy. He's fighting a slick southpaw with pretty good power. Quintana was able to hit Cotto with some good shots early in the fight & he's not even as fast or physically gifted as Judah. If Judah hits Cotto with some of the punches Quintana landed, Cotto will be in serious trouble.

I agree here, Zab will do good early but if he can't finish Cotto by 6, which I don't think he can...then Cotto will knock him out by 10. If it goes the distance, it will be Cotto by UD.

Simply stated, If Judah comes in ready for war(which is a big if when it comes to Judah) then he'll give Cotto a tough fight, if he expects to cruise like he thought he would against Baldomir then he's gonna be in trouble. I think it'll be a big win for Cotto & it would bump him up a notch or 2 in my book, Jab is a slick fighter, so I dont see him getting knocked out, and I think if he was 100% he could probably beat Cotto by UD.
