Hate??? Brigs is one of my favorite fighters but as always I call it as I see it, I never hug any fighters' balls, I praise them as I antagonize them.

You're a ****i'n proffesional fighter and you'll find out that you're sick after a match has been arranged? This is just plain bull****! Again getting an injury while preparing for a fight is different.

I can pay a doctor $50 and I can get a certification that I have tuberculosis in just one minute if I wanted and I needed to buddy, wake up!

All that juice might have hurt his immune system(happens a lot) and he might actually be sick, right off the cycle.

LOL! at least this news is less dissapointing than that supposed Corrales-Castillo 3 fight.

I just hope Briggs recovers quickly and gets back to training ASAP. I just don't want him to utter more excuses after gassing a lot faster if he continues the March 10 bout. Just get back in the ring 100%. I wonder what John David Jackson and Yoel Judah think of his pnuemonia...

This is a ******, ****** question. Of course he's sick. Ibragimov is one of my favorite fighters, but do you think Shannon Briggs is anywhere near afraid of him? I'm not even saying Briggs is a good fighter and Ibragimov can't beat him, but come on, Sultan is just not the kind of fighter you duck. You duck freaks with a stand out ability. You duck the huge punchers or the slick, hard to hit southpaws. You don't make up an illness not to fight Sultan Ibragimov. Come on people, use your heads here.

              From Wikipedia:

Walking pneumonia is an outdated term referring to pneumonia (infection of the small air-filled sacs of the lung) which does not cause significant disability. People who are affected by walking pneumonia do not require hospitalization and are often able to continue participating in school or work functions. Although these mild cases of pneumonia can be caused by any number of microorganisms, infection with viruses such as influenza and respiratory syncytial virus or atypical bacteria such a Mycoplasma pneumoniae, Chlamydophila pneumoniae, or Legionella pneumophila are the most common causes.

Treatment, when necessary, is typically with oral antibiotics such as amoxicillin, a macrolide like azithromycin or clarithromycin, or a fluoroquinolone, e.g., levofloxacin. Prognosis is excellent with symptoms typically resolving after a week or less.
If it affects his lungs like the above says, he has good reason for pulling out. Having that **** on top of his asthma would spell disaster in the ring.

Of course he's sick? How can you speak too surely of that? Use your brain and stop being emotional dude.

Nobody is claiming that Briggs is ducking Sultan or anybody, is that clear to you? The fight is being delayed that's the whole point.

So why would he be faking it if not to duck Ibragimov?

on both coasts and certain parts of chicago it means partying to fckg much.

unless its a ploy and briggs is really going to wack out the odds, which is good. i think.

frankly i can't believe the clubfighter ibragimov is favored.

Let me explain it to you son, he's faking it to make sure that the fight happens later not now. The fight is already made and signed so no matter what, it's gonna happen so it's not ducking.
