Has anyone else noticed that Cotto...

Since the Corley fight has only fought one guy with real punching power? That guy, Ricardo Torres, sent him to the canvas and had him on the verge of a disaster all night.

Before Corley, Cotto faced guys like Kelson Pinto and Randall Bailey, fighters with known punching power. Since then, he has been matched with Malignaggi, Quintana, Branco, guys who couldn't hurt him.

Are his handlers more weary of his weakness than is usual of a fighter on the rise?

N'Dou has good power and so does Abdulev (sp). But I think that the change in opponents was more due to preparing Cotto for the top fighters which are slicker boxers or boxer punchers.

Cotto has definately been protected to some degree thus far. I'm still awaiting him to fight someone like Shane Mosley.

AS comes late on the scene to wind everyone up after the fact. Why don't you ask us about racial stereotypes while you're at it?

Lovemore N'Dou is a notorious arm puncher, he hasn't got any real power, outside of his jab. His jab is his best shot because it's the only punch he throws straight.

maybe, but quintana was his first fight at 147. let's wait and see.

                abdullaev and paulie made sense

branco was definitely handpicked after the torres fight.
