Clearly a boxer that know's boxing is about the fights and not about the money, he prob wont get 3mill for fightin the big O in his title shot, and if you dont think he deserved it then you have got to get your head checked out, it was the final fight to see who would fight the champ, and peter won, that means he DESERVES the shot, he won not toney, because toney is so ****ing lazy he couldnt even be bothered throwing any punches, he is a wasted talent and always will be, peter is possibly the future of the heavyweight divison, we dont need vitail back, he is a frud, and has fooled all boxing fans apart from the ones who no better

2.5 mil to wait a few extra months and a guranteed 3 mil to fight in your next title fight is a redicilous offer to turn down. I dont think Peter has made more then 1.5 mil for a fight, hes going to get screwed ragardless why not make some money while you wait

sheez, all you people talk about is that 'all fighters care about is money', 'thats whats wrong with boxing nowadays', and heres Sam Peter, waving away a guarenteed $5 million+. just for his shot at the title that he earned via mandatories! Unbelievable!

Personally I think Vitali should go ahead and fight Rahman, hes rated fairly high by the WBC I think, and plus it will get rid of the idea that Vitali ducked Rahman, however anyone saw it...seems like a fairly solid win to me, especially if Vitali were to beat his ass. plus Rahman was Vitalis mandatory years back anyway

You guys seriously don't get it, do you? What unification fight???????? Wlad will not fight King's fighters and King will never match his fighters with each other. There is no unification for another couple of years if Peter wins the title.
