lol paulie isnt garbage but is way overated. i woulnt say he has "supreme boxing ability" and "incredibly fast hands". however the interesting thing is cotto only beat him by a couple of rounds imo.

i also think mosley can beat cotto and maybe even ko him if he hits him right.
but i have noticed this older version of mosley doesnt deal with preassure as well as he used to based on the estrada and 1st vargas fight.
looking back at mosleys early years i think much much better than all the fighter we have now at 135-147. that version of mosley would brutaly ko cotto within 5-8 rounds. also kick mayweathers ass aswell imo.

Its hard to knock a guy out whose holding on for dear life plus having your strong hand broken.
Collazo allowed Mosley to move anyway he wanted, the times Collazo came in he was running in trying to land the straight. Cotto cuts the ring, works the body and punches 100% harder than Collazo. I agree Mosley is nowhere near his prime though.

Good ass fight...even money at this point really. Cotto is so damned strong and heavy handed but his speed is often overlooked as well. Mosleys long reach and quick hands would be Cotto's main problem. Cotto would have to catch Shane pushing out some weak punches and he'd have to land hard shots to the body and head to get some respect. Much like he did with Quintana. Once Mosley felt those body shots the fight would change.

cotto does not hit harder than shane mosley ... shane was at 154 , going against solid middle weights ... shane would be the biggest person cotto has faced ...

cotto has not fought anyone ...DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN

Corley was trying to take Cotto out...he just didn't succeed. He went to the body and back to the head...he hit him with plenty of hard punches after he hurt him initially. Something must be said for Cotto's ability to recover after being hurt. He was hurt a few times against Torres as well and ate some HUGE punches thereafter, but Torres couldn't finish him either. I think people fail to give Cotto credit for understanding how to fight and survive after being hurt. They'd rather point fingers at Corley whoever else for not being able to "finish", when Corley was doing what he was supposed to do to try and get him out of there.

Cotto was going to stop Corley any way you slice it. corley didn't like it to the body...there were only so many times he could have taken a knee before being blasted out.

                  Excellent post, I agree fully,
I'll add that the TWO fights Cotto has been hurt in (Yes being hurt twice, not even stopped just hurt makes ur chin **** to sum) Were against an absaloute Bomber in Ricardo Torres and against an under rated puncher in Corley (Im thinking of mainly PBF and the 1round blow out of Flores here) who caught him onexpectedly on the tempile, 1 of those shots that just seems too **** peeps up! My point, almost anybody would have been hurt by these shots but almost nobody would have maneged to recover and score a KO!

This fight wont happen because of the beef between Top rank and GBP Its going to be Cotto vs Judah or Cintron.
