i made this thread before and yes bitches I'm making it again... I know mosley has it in him to beat just about anybody out there ... but many people do not feel the same way ...so how do you feel now???

One more thing I would like to mention is Cotto is not in the same league as Shane ... Shane has more experience, he is stronger and has way more speed than cotto...

cotto does not have a ****in chin...and he will get exposed once he fights mosley ... I honestly think that floyd mayweather would even knock Cotto out ...just because cotto has no chin ...

I think against mosley or even mayweather, Cotto would be KO-ed because he has no chin ...

Cotto beat paulie (garbage) ... Cotto beat Quintana (skilled but garbage) ..he has not fought anybody elite yet... NO ONE ... worth mentioning ...

Mayweather Vs Cotto= large decision or possibly a 11 or 12rd knockout just because of the accumilation of punishment Cotto would receive ...

Merchant asked him a direct question if he wanted to fight Cotto, he never responded. You actually think he wants to risk his life giving Cotto a chance? He picked a pillow fisted guy, who never really pressed him, Cotto's the complete opposite. I would bet all your points against mine that he's not fighting Cotto. Too bad for him he turned PBF down and now that PBF announced his retirement, he said he was willing to fight him, too late...

yeah, he really needs to step up the competition and challenge carlos baldomir, arturo gatti, and then make it a hat trick with sharmba mitchell.

cotto is clearly a gifted fighter, and while his chin is suspect, and a hard puncher could take him down, i dont think its a glaring weakness.

not to mention the idea of floyd knocking anyone out at welterweight is a joke. mother****er couldnt punch through a wet sheet of newspaper without breaking his hand.

first of all paulie wasnt garbage he just wasnt on the level of cotto being that his experience was still novice as far as a his credible fight's in the past but paulie gave cotto and the fan's a great fight and showed true heart when every one thought he was gonna get knocked out he still went all 12 despite the cheek bone and hand injury ,cotto on the other hand is all hype to me he fights undiclosed fighter's who really opose no threat and they dont wanna sacrifice the reign he is on now by putting him in the ring with some one like mosley just yet they will either take judah or cintron or even a margerito fight(if the paul william fight dosent fall through) and they will avoid big names like pbf,shane mosley because bob arum is scared to jump in to big fights right now and sacrifice the fan base when he can build ,get paid, and draw in a bigger fan base then the cotto camp already has brang in ,he knows cotto's chin was already exposed during that demarcus colrey fight so why not just rank in a few more card's vs a bunch of c and b class fighter's then build hype up for one big name and one huge pay day.

Paulie survived by holding on for dear life. Cotto fractured his left hand (power hand) in the fight and you never heard of it. Paulie complained afterwards for the ring being too small? Cotto looked on crack when he fought Paulie and still was able to send him straight to the plastic surgeon. Many thought Paulies "supreme boxing ability" and "incredibly fast hands" would be too much for Cotto. About fighting B class fighters, no argument there, he only has 28 fights and has had 8 title fights, how many Williams has had with 32 fights? Just to mention a name. Those big names will come, be patient.

I don't know if they would take the fight or not, as I recall Arum agreed to put them in the ring but told Mosley Cotto needed to fight his mandatory first. Merchant asked Mosley if he would fight Cotto and he never answered. If the fight never gets made it might not be Arum's nor Cotto's fault.
