I might be wrong here , but wasn't Tyson AND Seldon under promotional contract with King at the time ? If so , would it really be out of the question for King to offer Seldon a couple hundred G's for Seldon to throw the fight to insure Kings cash machine kept rolling ? Notice how Sedon got " knocked down " into the perfect push-up position . just a thought

i rewatched the fight last night . the first punch that knocked seldon actually did land . you can hear the thud when tyson lands on seldon . it was a clean shot . sometimes a shot which looks like nothing or a glancing blow can knock a fighter . look at the liston ali fight . a lot of people think liston took a dive because the punch looked like nothing and couldnt of possibly knocked a fighter like liston but new and advanced film footage have shown that liston actually got hit with a flush shot right on the chin.

Because Seldon was in complete and utter fear of Tyson and his punch. He simply **** his shorts and dropped out of sheer fear.

True and in the process, made me lose muchos dineros. I have never referred to a boxer as a bum, never. But Seldon comes close for what he did in that fight. On the other hand, it was a Harvard B-School case on how to make a fortune without doing anything.

Yeah the guy he fought, Marcus Rhode, is a big bag with armas and legs. Check out his astounding record. All 31 of his losses have come by way of stoppage and most within the first 3 rounds. How does a guy like this get a license? Bad stuff.
