Seldon vs. Tyson

i just rewatched that fight recently . the first punch that floored seldon didnt even land cleanly . tyson threw a right hand and it went over seldons head and tyson caught him with his wrist . how can being hit by somebodys wrist cause you to be knocked down?.

Because Seldon was in complete and utter fear of Tyson and his punch. He simply **** his shorts and dropped out of sheer fear.

the fight wasent fixed . you have to remember seldon didnt have the best chin . he was knocked down by tony i couldnt crack an egg tubbs. seldon also said after the fight "i didnt train for 12 weeks just to take a dive". he also said that tyson hit a lot harder and faster than he ever thought he could. tyson has seldon roced before that glancing blow put him to the floor . it was an accumulative effect.

That said i dont think it was a fix at all but Perhaps he did act more hurt than he was (So the ref would stop it) due to fear of getting Really hurt by a Tyson bomb! I beleive Carl Williams did this also

Like you said a little while back - Seldon was scared beyond belief.

That explains everything anyone needs to know - you are a veteran soldier so I know you appreciate and understand actual combat, #1.

I would've done the same **** if I were Seldon. I'll be damned if I'm gonna take a Mike Tyson bomb to the dome. I'd like to be able to speak without stuttering in the future.
