I'm kinda surprized really to see this fight be made but it does make for an interesting matchup i'd say. Hopefully Hoplkins can win and further cement his legacy.

thank you bernard, glad that he finally stepped in the ring with winky wright, I prefer this match up than hopkins taking on Roy '****in" Jones.

Is it just me or does Bernard Hopkins announce significantly more fights than he actually has?

I don't see why this makes any sense for B-hop. Wright is a tremendous fighter, but with Wright there hasn't been a more boring high profile fighter in quite sometime. I'm having a hard time staying awake just thinking about it. Doesn't seem that Hopkins would make the most money with this bout. He is only fighting for money at this point anyway.

I would think a Calzaghe bout in England would make more sense for him. Of course I would rather see him stay retired after beating Dixon....but as Little Marie says, "fighters fight"

Decent fight, ten times better than Hopkins vs RJJ without a doubt. Will it be boring? Of course it will, but then nearly all Hopkins' fights are.

Shame this means Joe Calzaghe's gonna be fighting another bum now, but hey - if he sticks with Warren that's all he'll ever fight

cant say it boring til you see it

i think Taylor vs Winky people though it was boring but turned out to be okay.

it would be more of a tech. fight and people could learn som boxing from it

i think the people would rather see RJJ vs. Bhop 2 instead.

Who would pay to watch this fight. By the way if anybody has what it takes to beat Wright it's Hopkins. But, hes is really old and the layoff might hurt him. I would watch but not on PPV.

Yeah I love it, but I have to buy it on DVD as it's not on TV over here. I'm only up to Season 2 so far! Stringer Bell is one of the coolest characters to ever grace a TV screen.

As for Jones/Hopkins, maybe people do wanna see that fight but what, really, is the point in it? Jones is absolutely shot to pieces and I can't see any way that he would win that fight. Don't forget, Hopkins is no Ajamu. So what would it prove? Hopkins doesnt have time to mess around with meaningless fights like the Jones one. A victory over Winky would mean a whole lot more.
