Can u IMAGINE DIEGO CORRALES at WELTERWEIGHT?

HE was REALLY skinny at 135. And i mean BONE thin.

12 pounds of muscle packed onto him, and hes gonna look rediculously strong.

And imagine if the power is still there?

IF this guys still has it, which is very possible because he was just in a light fight w/ casamayor and hes had another loooong rest, imagine what he could accomplish at WELTERWEIGHT?

So many good opponents. margarito, Williams, Mayweather again, Cotto, Hatton, Castillo III.

    just imagine

I think he will be really good as a welterweight. His chin will be tested though, unless it was the weight drain.

I think his chin is very weak. We all saw what happened when Gatti went to 147, he was a weakling. I know people dont think Corrales is a stronger fighter than Gatti.

Corrales chin is underrated. He took freitas's best shot and still came forward.

He got KDed twice by Castillo and somehow recovered.

THe only reason i think its in question, was because of the 4th round KO against Castillo.

And Using GATTI as an example isnt always true. Lots of guys continually gain power as they go up in weight, and some completely lose it.

And even though CORRALES fought at 140 something against CASTILLO II, he still weighed in at 135. If he weights in at 147, he could weigh 154 at fight night and have this tremendous build.

I think if his power carries over, and the chin is still there due to the rest, Corrales could be the MUST WATCH guy in the division

Corrales is one of the few people that I would say without hesitation has a weak chin. I dont know if its the weight, but its bad. Hes been knocked down atleast 10 times.

He could get stronger and his chin might improve with the added muscle.

It is better for him to move up but there is no way to predict how he is going to handle the jump until he actually steps into the ring with a true Welter.

I swing back and forth in my opinion and I am really intrigued by the idea.

Not only will the added mass make an improvement and the fact he isn't killing himself to make unrealistic weights, the fact he'll be alot closer to his natural weight or maybe **** on it will do wonders for him.

I'd like to see him fight Miguel Cotto, regardless of his questionable chin, I think the styles would make for a great fight, however long it lasted.
