Okay...bit of a common sense question here. Why would Ali duck a man who's ass he kicked so thoroughly the first time?

He fought Chuvalo the second time in 1972 if I'm not mistaken and he'd been out of boxing from 1967 until 1970, so when was he supposed to have "ducked" Chuvalo? Between 1971 and 1972??

Sorry man, I don't buy that at all.

Ali even fought opponents who he should have never fought in a first place, Coopman, lubbers, Dunn, Evangelista, Spinks, Berbick, cant find anyone he ever ducked.

Versa's speaking of an earlier time, my friend...

In late Sept of 1963, Ali signed a "document of intent" to fight Chuvalo in Nov of that year for promoter Bill King down in Louisville, only to see him pull out of the commitment about a week or two later.

That one might be true I watched a doc about Chavolo where he explained it all . He seemed very bitter because he ended up having to fight Floyd Patterson instead, a fight which he feels he was ripped off in .
