i always liked mayorga, though he is a little limitted. his first fight with forrest was one of the fights that turned me into a real fan of boxing, though i'd been watchin fights for quite a while before that

I speak spanish, man. He's lives parttime in miami and his manager has a couple of fighters in his stable that fight here at the Miccosukee resort, so Mayorga stops by every once in awhile. He's mad cool. And for those who say the whole smoking thing is a gimmick, it isnt.

I luv Mayorga! The only time ive rooted against him was against Tito! The way he took those shots from Spinks on purpose was special that will be something i rember for a long ass time! Peeps say he bad for boxing but IMO he's good for it! He brings an edge, an excitement! In both the build up and the fight! If there were no baddies there could be no goodies!

I like Mayorga, he comes in looking to take your head the **** off, but what always pissed me off was how he'd just stand there & take punches for no reason, at least fire back or something, when he did that with Tito i was like "No!" I dont care how you brace yourself that **** has to do some kind of damage, I mean it was ****in' Tito, but other then that he's cool.

When he used to eat at the weigh in while on the scales that musta drove the other boxer nuts! He is definatley a character!

Everybody loves that **** & the crowd goes crazy, but if you stand in front of Tito & say hit me you better have a chin made out of titanium, Mayorga had an incredible chin, that is until Tito went at that **** like a ****in' jackhammer. I still wonder if Tito did some permanent damage cause I thought he would have lasted longer against DLH.
