Everybody loves that **** & the crowd goes crazy, but if you stand in front of Tito & say hit me you better have a chin made out of titanium, Mayorga had an incredible chin, that is until Tito went at that **** like a ****in' jackhammer. I still wonder if Tito did some permanent damage cause I thought he would have lasted longer against DLH.

I agree completely, the Mayorga that fought Tito would have went the distance with Oscar. Tito had a way of ruining Fighters! Reid, Vargas among others spring to mind! Tito = Da Man!

I will, tho I dunno when he might swing by the fights next. Last time I seen him was after they announced the De La Hoya fight. What was cool was that I ran into him on his way out for the night. He was smoking his cigarette, pretty much alone. I wanted to snap a shot of him pufing away to prove to some peeps that say that its a gimmick, but he saw me. So he turns around flicks his cigarette away and poses for me. I already had a few pics from the other times I met him, so I handed the camera off to my pops who shot one of him and I. He was mad cool, smiling and shaking my hand (I got the feeling he had a few already) and thanked me when I wished him luck against De La Hoya. He even checked out my ride when the valet came and waved at us as we left.
Another reason I root for him is that my fiance is Nica and since Nicaragua doesnt have or hasnt had many great fighters (Arguello, Mayorga and Rosendo) I try to support them. Tho I had to root for Tito when they fought...I AM boricua after all.

Yup, tho you can tell Mayorga was rocked on that hook. He played it off with the chicken dance, but if you look closely, his knees buckle a bit. I think the fight would have been even more competitive had he not done that, cuz I think he was a bit cloudy the rest of the fight.

I luv Mayorga! The only time ive rooted against him was against Tito! The way he took those shots from Spinks on purpose was special that will be something i rember for a long ass time! Peeps say he bad for boxing but IMO he's good for it! He brings an edge, an excitement! In both the build up and the fight! If there were no baddies there could be no goodies!

No 1 is sayin Spinks is a bomber but he is a pro boxer, and i doubt U or the vast majority of Boxers would take those shots so clean and basically laugh! Anyway i ment more the showman ship of it all
