He used to be one of my favorite fighters to be honest.

That was back when I figured him as the humble, hungry fighter that wanted to become champ in multiple weights. He was funny and actually said some clever things outside of the ring at times.

He turned into the biggest ******* in boxing, as well as one of those guys you'd love to root against because of his personality.

He's now an egocentric, selfish, arrogant, tasteless, ******* who I am amazed still has people backing him up and defending him.

He's not even entertaining at all.

I agree with you. Bad publicity is good publicity to Mayweather. Unfortunately for him, I am a believer in that if the stuff he said actually had substance, people would probably love to see the fight. I think more then anything he just likes to hear himself talk.

I tend to agree, but there is a limit to how much you can move up in weight, before feeling the difference in power.

Since DLH is somehow "perfect", not boxingwise, but he is perfect to be loved by ppl:

the kid from east la, who wins a gold medal for his mom, he makes it big, pays for schools for poor kids, fights every great fighter around his weight...). Floyd cannot promote this fight out of love for himself. so i think black jesus is not off the mark.
