people probably want to see him knocked out now more than ever in the boxing world with all that **** hes talking, so basically, people who were torn on ordering will be even more tempted too now, seeing as how mayweather continues to taunt and aggrevate DLH through the media.

or the other half will just want to to see if he lives up to that **** hes talking, either way its a good buildup, humility is ****ing boring and you know it.

Obviously there's something to this. You're right, and he doesn't make for great fights so there has to be SOMETHING that appeals to people.

Still, he'll never be a DLH/Tito type draw, I don't care WHO he beats. These days, it's all about HOW he beats them. Slick, finesse and purely skilled boxers don't appeal. Look at Cory Spinks for crying out loud, he can't even make a Showtime co-feature (!). It took Winky years (and a great gesture from Shane Mosley) to get ANY kind of attention. Ditto Hopkins, thanks to DK and Tito. Mayweather hasn't had any fights like Winky had with Mosley and Hopkins had with Tito...until now.

BUT, he won't inherit DLH's drawing power by beating him in a chess match. He'd have to stop him, and maybe, just MAYBE, if he's serious enough about changing his style and stopping DLH (because we know with the style he used vs. Baldy he won't hurt DLH), then he might have something.

He used to be one of my favorite fighters to be honest.

That was back when I figured him as the humble, hungry fighter that wanted to become champ in multiple weights. He was funny and actually said some clever things outside of the ring at times.

He turned into the biggest ******* in boxing, as well as one of those guys you'd love to root against because of his personality.

He's now an egocentric, selfish, arrogant, tasteless, ******* who I am amazed still has people backing him up and defending him.

He's not even entertaining at all.

all publicity is good publicity as it goes, just common sense to talk ****, you know DLH isn't going too, anything to make it as big as possible, smart move IMO. great post, karma comin' you way.
