Witter to Hatton: Give Britain What it Wants

After Hatton gets Castillo i want him to box PBF. And then i would like to see Hatton v Witter. Hatton dont want many more matches after PBF and Hatton might opt for easier defences so that may actually rule Witter out.
Witter i am confident would give Hatton a really tough match and Hatton might not be interested because Witter aint a big name in the big scheme of things. But i really would like to see Witter show me more of what he has got against some decent opponents himself. I mean really good opponents. He hasnt to date fought anyone.

I agree with you, I say **** Witter if he has a chance at PBF, Cotto, Mosley or Even Oscar and probably 3-4 others but if he is just gonna take contenders and fringe paper champs like Maussa, Urango and N'Dou I say hell why not Witter instead.

Also to be honest how many big name fighters are at 140lbs that Hatton can choose from? Castillo and Corrales are probably the only ones that he could make into a PPV event unless someone else from lightweight comes up.

1)witter quite clearly states that the fight needs to happen this summer , not in the winter or next year this summer , it now looks likely that castillo-hatton is gonna happen with or without the ibf belt so theres no chance in hell ricky is gonna turn down a carear best payday on american ppv tv.
2) with this in juniors mind hes already making jose look inferior to himself by claiming hes just a "blownup lightwieght" when in reality we all no jose is a bigger name and a better fighter than junior but because alot of people are using anything to have a pop at hatton
so in future read in between the lines before passing judgement
and also this aint the biggest fight in british history

Witter has been using Hatton's name to get leverage his entire career and he hasn't be calling him out as challenger to champion, he's been smack talking the whole time. Witter is a pure gob****e and no mistake. I would like to see Hatton knock Witter to pieces, but I would prefer to see a tear up with Castillo any day of the week. Here's what would be good: A fight with Witter at the end of the year for the WBC belt. A move up to 147 and fight a "tune up" to get into the weight, say Baldomir or maybe someone who isn't ranked top-ten between January and March, then look at fighting Cotto and Mayweather in 2008 - 2009 and then calling it a day.

Witter is definitely someone who should be in there somewhere, but there's no way he should get to fight in summer, it just makes no sense to do that.

As for this "winner takes all" BS, that would only last until negotiations opened then suddenyl it'll be looking for 50-50.
