I'm not saying Woods is the best, but he is more proven than Adamek.
Briggs is the very person that Woods wants no piece of........instead he pick other fighters to defend against............yes he fought Roy Jones and got annihilated!!

Johnson, won a very close decision at HOME.....and Gonzalez, well he ain't bad but still a fringe contender...

I'd love to see Woods fight Briggs, but that wouldn't happen!

You really think Woods is avoiding anyone? Especially Briggs? Briggs struggled with a rather less than world class fighter at the weekend. If Briggs keeps fighting like that he won't get a shot at a top fighter.

Briggs needs to make a fight happen, Clinton has bigger fish to fry at the moment.

please elaborate on Briggs' fight?...dunno anything about that..

and the bigger fish to fry, that is always the best defence for a "Champ" trying to dodge other fighters...

by the way. HOW ON EARTH could WOODS fight a fighter like Jason Delisle for a defence, when he had already fought that bum a while back, yet say that Briggs is a small fish!!

Woods is gunning for Tarver in America, then perhaps a fight with Dawson.

Delisle was a stay busy fight, he fought Gonzalez and Johnson either side of that, hardly awful competition, is it?

If Briggs wants a shot all he has to do is fight someone like Glen Johnson first......

Why do you even entertain the idea that Woods is dodging Briggs? First I've heard of it. Briggs has to fight people better than Rupert van Aswegen if he wants a shot.

come on man, you think Briggs wanted to fight that bum..........he has no choice as nobody will fight him as he is too much of a risk...........Briggs is pretty much doomed as he can't even get to force fighters to fight him as he'd have to become no.1 contender and hard to do unless ppl fight him.

his only hope would be for a 3rd fight with Adamek, which he pretty much said no to...

thats his predicament at the moment, he is too much of a risk to fighters...

Adamek lost to Dawson simply because of his style and his camp underestimated Dawson...I would pick Adamek against Woods any day...

iv always said adamek is a bum after seeing his 2 wars with another bum in briggs. clinton would have battered adamek imo. woods is very underated and vs dawson i think he has a good chance of beating him, although i would lean towards dawson.
just go watch his 1st fight johnson, many people were saying glen got robbed but that is complete bs, the fight was all even.

yeah but even woods' promoter thought johnson won the fight so that says something. Id love to see johnson fight dawson though.
