The younger the fighter, the more they're going to be ready to accept a trainers authority. How is someone like DLH not going to think "I've done more in boxing than all these guys, and they're telling ME how to fight?"
Often people will confuse a trainers experience and talent as a fighter, for his experience and talent as a trainer. They're NOT the same thing! You can have been the best fighter the world has ever seen, that doesn't mean you can teach anyone else, or you could have been the most pathetic fighter ever, but have great insight into boxing, and great teaching abilities.
Oh well, my point simply was that the young guys will accept your authority more readily, because they don't have as much experience. Once a fighter gets some results, he sometimes begins thinking he knows best.
