maybe he needs to do it for himself, not for us?? thats not so crazy

and as i said before, i think at this point him calling for the fight is a way of deriding some pleasure out of lennox being forced to admit he is too old and fat to even consider it....

some people on this forum would tell you that wladamir would conversely be required to defeat a 42 year old corrie sanders if he wanted to be considered "great"......

what is the difference?? why are people blaming vitali for actively seeking revenge for a bitter defeat?? he certainly wont be considered great if he knocks out oleg maskaev in the 1st round

Calling a 42- year old out of retitrement (4 yrs retired!) in a dangerous sport like boxing is pretty irresponsible for a guy who was running for mayor of kiev a whiole ago. Vitali is really ruining his reputation as far as I'm concerned.

He needs to concentrate on maskaev and then look at Peter, then Briggs or Valuev. Lewis beat you, Lewis is retired with his health, leave it that way.

                No.

The fight was up for grabs. Lewis was tired as hell, and Vitali was tired too. Lewis was hitting Klitschko with hard shots in the last couple rounds and Vitali was falling all over Lewis late in round 6 after taking a short right hand inside.

lewis won it fairly. the point of boxing is to do damage to your opponent so he cannot continue, whether it be through a ten count, a ref stoppage, cuts, swelling, etc...

It's not a satisying conclusion, but it was fair. It's not like Klitschko was robbed, like Lewis was against Holyfield or Tiberi against Toney.

Whats the point of bringing this up again? Lennox cut him with a punch and won fairly in a close fight
