Sounds like Vitali's trying to setup a couple of big paydays before he retires again; first Maskaev then maybe a rematch with Lewis... Having said that, I hope Maskaev rains on his proverbial parade before he can setup a rematch with Lewis.

Nah. I've seen it enough. Yes, Lewis was exhausted; but Vitali wasn't as fresh as a daisy neither....and he was eating more and more of Lewis' punches. Lewis would have dropped him in the next 3 to 4 rounds IMO.

What some people are repeatedly failing to understand, or accept, is the fact that stopping a fighter on cuts is just as legitimate a win as a knockout or decision. It's Part and parcel of boxing, that's just the way it is. To say Vitali won is just beyond ******ity to be honest. He was cut to pieces. It's obviously a disappointing end to a fight, but that's just the way it is.

What ever your opinion is on this, I know all of you would pay to see vitali fight Lennox again. This fight would be bigger than the superbowl, and you know you would buy the PPV. I would.

The returning Vitali Klitschko is still having dreams of a rematch with Lennox Lewis. In a recent interview with Sportinglife, Klitschko said that he beat Lewis when the two fighters met in 2003. He feels the referee saved Lewis by stopping the fight because of a very deep cut above Klitschko's eye. Klitschko was ahead on points when the fight was stopped in the sixth round. [details]

the point is simple, its the potentially most lucrative fight out there.(allthough its silly, should vk win he beat an old man if he losses people will just say he is ****)
