Winky's piston like jab would give anyone trouble, including BHop. Not to mention his defense, those long right hand leads from BHop would never land on Winky. I honestly don't think this fight is gonna be close at all. The reason why the fight with Taylor was close was because of Taylor's high work rate, BHop doesn't start fighting until the 5th round or so, bad news for him.

Good matchup and Winky has actually become fun to watch as of his last few fights-I think he will try and outwork Hopkins which is what gives Bernard trouble-Taylor didnt even need to land punches to get a decision he just needed to outwork Nard, Winky will pose the same problem with a touch more accuracy I believe.

I applaud Nard for taking this fight and sparing the unsuspecting sports fan of a ripoff in the form of a fight with Roy Jones. People talk about boxing and its black eyes and refer to things like Mike Tyson's legal trouble...bull**** thats not a blackeye on boxing if you have any sort of brain a black eye would have been Hopkins vs. Jones-would have hurt the sport as much as anything I can think of-thank goodness its not happening.

Provided my boy Joe wins in April isnt the next logical step Calzaghe vs. Hopkins/Wright?

Only a fool wouldnt respect Hopkins, im not a fan of his but damn i respect him! However id have respected him far more had he fought Jones - a naturally heavier man/same, over a smaller opponent who has never fought at the weight! And a guy who holds a win over him, id pick Roy, even now, to potshot his way to a boring UD. Hopkins beats Wink easy IF he can still fight the fight he fought against Kieth Holmes, Aggresive as hell, mauling, in ur face type of fight! Otherwise its MUCH closer, i still pick Nard tho.

Your smoking **** if you like Hopkins v. Jones more then Hopkins v. Wright-is it a white **** or a black ****, hell is it one fo those little Puerto Rican ****s?

Fight like he did against Keith Holmes huh? Well **** I took Ali over Holmes based upon my hope that Ali would fight like he did against Frazier in their second bout but it didnt happen and you know why it didnt happen son-cuz Ali was a different fighter much like Hopkins is now here in the year 2007.

Im just giving you a hard time, Id love to see the junkyard dog return and their is a slight chance of it happening but dont count on it-Hopkins is no longer the same fighter he was back in 2001 and before.

Trust me Robo-Jones doesnt belong in the ring any longer collecting 50 bucks from folks who want to see a fight-Jones is looking for a handout and you should be damn thankful Bernard did not oblige him.

Calm urself player! I here ur Ali-Holmes point thats why i capped the IF, coz it quite possibly cant happen. Jones gets beat by alot of fighters out there but STYLISTICALLY i think he beats B-Hop but Again thats IF Nard CANT fight like he did against K.Holmes and trys to out fox Roy, throwing 1 punch at a time, u know?

I've been a fan of Hopkins ever since he schooled Trinidad, but I think Winky would beat him by unanimous decision. Just watch the Taylor-Winky fight and you'll know why.
