The reason B-hop will beat Winky Wright...

damn at 170??? bernard will be bigger and stronger than winky wright...plus winky has never fought at this weight in his career...I see bernard winning this by a large UD ...

might be a boring fight , but then again it might be exciting ... I rather see this than delahoya vs mayweather

Bernard Cheating His Way To Glory, I Have Respect For Him But Ive Always Thought Bernard Thinks Very High Of Himself Even Though He Really Has That One Win Over Tarver,(overrated tito at middleweight could also count as a big win for Hopkins, but not De la Hoya).....

But Winky Will Beat Him, Winky Has Just Lost Once(and Been Robbed THREE times including his draw with Taylor), And That Was A Different Winky....

you got a point because every big name Wright beat, he was clearly bigger than. he was way bigger than Mosley and Trinidad.

170 is too much for winky wright, he would lose badly.

A guy who fought at 154, going up 16 pounds will be too much.

I cant believe winky took thsi fight at 170 ...winky has some nuts ... some huge nuts ...but i dont think he will beat B-hop...

but i mean damn if somehow winky pulls it off..then i will do nothing but repsect him at that point...

I think Winky could win this fight. Remember Hopkins isn't a power threat. He will be clearly looking for a way to outbox Wink. This is going to be intersting because Hopkins is good at hitting you at ackward angles. Most of the people Winky has fought have just been lazy and try to get in straight through the guard. I think the weight won't be a problem. But damn Hopkins is picking the wrong fight it would be much easier against Calzage/Jones. I am a big fan of both so I don't know who to root for.

I'm not so sure because if he loses he still has a few more fights left in him. But it would look good on his record as a win over Hopkins. I think Hopkins has nothing to lose either he already cemented his legacy. Most of the time when a fighter's career is sort of tarnished is when they get knocked out. Take Roy for example he got knocked out twice now everyone thinks he's a joke, which is not the case. Tyson got knocked out and always has his name in dirt now people think differently of him. But from a boxing perspective he was still the youngest HW champ to ever be.

Well, Hopkins isn't the type of fighter that will use his size to wear you down. He's going to be boxing and that will negate some of the size advantage. If Winky prepares his body properly for the weight and maintains his stamina, I think he'll beat Hopkins. Hopkins is just too inactive and Winky will jab him all night and rack up the points...

I agree with most of what you are saying. But I wouldn't be surprised if Hopkins could pull out a victory. But if he lost to Taylor and he was barely touched then Wink probably would win. Because he will use his jab more than Taylor did.
