    dude

pea was not slick at that time in his career, he was a 35yo coke head, coming out a 14 months layoff.

i mean did he remotely look like the pea who was in the ring with chavez in '93

Tell me one thing, did you see Carr's vs DLH fight after Carr was really past his prime?
i will give you this very clearly and happily.

those ppl were underestimating tito and they thought anyone with skills would be able to beat him.

well they were wrong. if you want to beat tito, you have to be able to be defensively active for 12 rounds (need to be very fit) and focused the whole fight and have a bad ass chin.

as for carr-oscar... is that a surprise? look at oscar-pea and you know oscar does not deal that well with boxers.

              ok

              my first post was wrong

this is my position on the subject:

"when he beats spinks, tito would be able to say he beat a good boxer in his prime"

spinks is way better than carr, although as exciting as a heap of decomposing dry leaves. he is a two div champ, lineal at 147.

My point is, Tito wasn't at all the same one-dimensional fighter who fought Winky and BHop while in his prime. He had a long jab, good defense and crazy stamina. No surprise he beat good boxers in his prime.
Something happened to him later on in his career where he looked to finish fights with one shot, I hope that's not the same Tito that comes back,if it is, I rather see him retired.

I have to partially give you camacho. he was still good, but not at 147. (he also lost to haugen btw)

camacho was really ****ed up when he fought rosario IMO, and fought like a ***** ever after.
