Well Tito's going to get off his ass to to catch Spinks. Nah but I would like to see it, I think it would be a competitive fight. Spinks would have a chance, Tito hasn't had a fight since Winky.

They said it would only be at 160, and Cory said that Tito is a legend and he'd move up for him. Bad move IMO for Spinks. If it does happen, it's kinda lame cuz it's obviously Tito fighting the highest profile fighter he can who he thinks he can beat. Win or lose, Spinks will still have his 154 title. So where does Tito stand after this? This is where I'm not so sure. Say he wins, will he keep fighting, and if so, who would he fight? It just seems like a very insignificant fight to me, although if it happens I'll be watching.
Other options for Tito? I don't know if there are any realistic ones, except maybe two:
Jermain Taylor if Taylor beats Mora/whoever in April--I'm sure HBO would love that, and it's probably Tito's best non-DLH option. A chance to end his career as the middleweight champ would cement his legacy, but this is way, way out there.
Shane Mosley at 158. This was rumored for February but obviously never got close. Mosley would surely move up for a Tito fight.
I would love to see Tito come back, TKO Spinks and get a Taylor fight, but those are some long odds. Plus, DK/DiBella/HBO would all be blasted for giving a guy who was embarrassed by Winky a title shot before Winky gets a rematch. But then again, Winky did turn down a rematch offer and is now moving up to 170 for Hopkins, after which he'll target DLH (probably even if he loses to PBF).

Then again, Tito and Winky are such good friends that a rematch is not out of the question, especially if Winky loses to Hopkins, because they could make it out to be a winner-gets-Hopkins-rematch fight.
Not a exciting scenario for hardcore fans, but it would work pretty well for PPV I think.

I'm not the biggest Taylor fan but he's too big for Tito in all honesty. I wouldn't want to see that. Yeah I would but not for Tito's sake. What needs to happen is a De La Hoya rematch not a Winky rematch. But if Tito loses a fight with Spinks then what? I guess he's going to retire again huh?

I know Spinks is a good fighter, but if he were to move up to 160 and outbox Trinidad and win clearly, it would tarnish Tito big time IMO. And I love Tito.

This isn't a fight that I would be real interested in watching.Cory would probadly give him some trouble for the first couple of rounds, but then get caught somewhere in the mid rounds.

I could see Tito coming back! I am a registered Tito fan and still haven't gotten over the absolute schooling he recieved from The Wink. I have to admit that as much as I like Tito, Mosley, and Oscar......they are all getting OLDER. For Tito to come back is a risk guys. He's about 34 now and good boxers give him fits. I don't know if Spinks could outbox him but sooner or later he would be exposed. I would kind of like to see him just stay retired.
But a part of me would like to see him avenge what happened last time out.
