Am I missing something? When has Briggs been down? He was knocked down three times by Lennox Lewis and got up each time, but that was Lewis, who is a hell of a better fighter than this guy. There was the defeat to Wilson, but there was a plausable excuse for that.

All in all there is nothing to suggest the guy has a bad chin.

there was no excuse for the wilson fight. even his own trainor said so. he also got dropped by mccline and beat up by botha. I dont think his chin is that bad,,,but its only average and his stamina is just awful

briggs was one punched KO'd by wilson, who never did anything again the rest of his career... briggs couldnt even get off his back... he's also been floored and hurt numerous other times... at BEST he has an average chin, IMO probably worse... in addition he has serious stamina problems, confidence issues, poor defense and is a one dimensional slugger with limited boxing skills.... he does have the one great equalizer, a big punch and fast hands...

I truly believe that Sultan is in way over his head. Briggs is going to finish him off by the mid rounds. I am not saying that Briggs is the best heavyweight currently out there, he is not that by a very long shot, but I think he is good enough to beat Sultan.

I agree, I just don't get the hype Ibragimov gets. He ****** against Austin and he was having problems keeping his head away from Ray's jabs.

He may have the edge in stamina but I think Briggs is more than capable of stopping Sultan early or late in the fight.
