Adamek-Dawson... Chavez-Diaz... Predictions?

I predict Adamek to win by UD....also Diaz by UD. I want Chavez to win but the layoff and the johnson tragedy might affect him.

I think we'll see Dawson really rise up as a star after this fight. He's already beaten Daniels, Gardner and Harding...enough to convince me he has the skill level to take out Adamek.

Adamek is a damned good fighter himself, but he'll find Dawson quicker and craftier than Briggs.

Both are tough to predict, actually. I'll go with Adamek and Chavez.

Adamek could get outworked, though. Depends how bad Dawson wants it, and how his chin holds up. He could definitely win, but it's a big step up... and I think Adamek might be stronger down the stretch in a tough fight.

I just don't see how Chavez is going to beat Diaz. Chavez is coming off a long layoff and will not be the same mentally. I doubt Chavez is going to let his hands go like he did before because of what happened to Johnson, and Diaz will being coming in very well prepared.

For some odd reason, there is not too much buzz about these fights which are taking place this Saturday night on Showtime... Anyone care to give their predictions on both fights??? I'm going with:

Adamek by late round stoppage...

Diaz by UD....

Too much buzz?? These are two very good fights. The kind that Showtime has become quite good at putting on unlike the Arce/Roque Ler HBO Main event.

You have Chad Dawson, who I believe is three steps above Allan Green, taking on one of the best Light Heavy's in Adamek. And on the undercard Diaz v Chavez??? I'd say that fight is also better than watching Andre Berto beat up on someone who has no business being on ESPN2 let on HBO.

Showtime getting good buzz on this saturdays fight is very warranted.

I've been goin back and forth on the Dawson-Adamek fight, I had been leaning towards Adamek by a close decision, but Adamek just may have the skills to get it done. Then again, he did just recently come up from middleweight and was dropped in his last fight, maybe due to the weight. He may have an advantage in speed and slickness, but Adamek should be his toughest fight yet, should be interesting to see. I still give the slight edge to Adamek, but I'm starting to think that Dawson will have a good chance should it go to the cards.

the beauty of this weekend is that both fights are toss ups and both fights should be just that FIGHTS!

I will say that the winner of Dawson v. Adamek, if that winner goes out an lays a whoopin on his opponent-puts forth a great effortwe are really going to have the start of something special.

Dawson or Adamek...the winner if in dominate to great fashion is going to be one avoided mother****er.
