Stewart seems the Obvious choice.. Didn't Stewart already train DLH in the past anyways??
Yes and Stewart is not particularly fond of DLH, as is evident from the HBO commentary he's done

      bad business it looks like.

trainer are like figure and teachers in college or highschool some teacher where some student fell comfortable with and could improve him and some you they feel comfortable with but dont improve him much and some you dont feel comfortable but you improve and some you dont feel comfortable with bt you and dont improve with him.

so anyway the whole point of all this is some trainer work better with some fighters and some fighter work better with some trainers

Manny and DLH already attempted to work together in the past when Steward had Lewis... It didn't work then...

Steward is a master at training the bigger man. He teaches a fighter to use their size advantage like no other. In addition he would get Oscar to use his jab more. Watch the Mayorga fight, where he was praising Oscars jab the whole time. Thats what Oscar needs to do imo. It would have been huge for him to get Manny.

Steward has more success training Heavyweights. Freddie Roach is Ok for Oscar. Oscar really can't learn anything new but Freddie might have a better game plan. Ill guess well find out.

i think that manny steward is probably a better trainer all around then roach, but i feel like activity is going to be oscar's best bet, not sit on the outside, hit, and hold when he tries to come inside.

oscar's size advantage really isnt as big a deal as people are making it out to be. his real advantage is speed, and power at the end of those fast punches. his best bet is gonna be coming in ready to throw 80 punches a round and force mayweather to fight.

at 154, if you force mayweather to throw punches, not only are they gonna be weak, but his hands will crack.

It won't matter who trains Oscar for PBF. As long as the trainer is getting him into fighting shape. It's all about environment and strategy. Nobody is going to "teach" Oscar anything at this stage of his career or this close to fight time. I think the sparring is going to be immensely important. Hope Roach has a good lineup of sparring partners for Oscar.
Oscar's big chance is to establish a jab and then dial in the left hook.

I couldn't agree more. Stamina and strategy are the key for this fight which is why I actually think Buddy Mcgirt woulda been the best choice.
Buddy was a slickster himself and look how he helped tarver deal with roy, who, even though is washed up, is still much faster than tarver.

Oscar is going to take "a dive" so it doesn't matter who trains him. This is just another ploy to sign another big name fighter. Oscar is getting paid anyway.
