Is Emmanuel Stewart better off training Oscar than Freddie Roach?

I just feel that this was a BIG mistake by Oscar choosing Freddie Roach. I think Freddie Roach wil have Oscar do the wrong things in this fight and Oscar will lose. If he got Emmanuel Stewart for the job I think it would have been a lot better. In my opinion Stewart is a better trainer than Roach.

Well since Roach seems to get the best out of brawlers and slugger types.. anD Ste***** speciality seems to be Tall guys and maxing out their Physical advantages..
Stewart seems the Obvious choice.. Didn't Stewart already train DLH in the past anyways??

it probably relationship people train where they are comfortable with and he could spar with pac and kick his balls out for not signing with him

you know what? doing some light sparring with the pacman would immensely help dlh with dealing with the speed of mayweather. pac's faster than pbf, so if oscar could at least get accustomed to pacman's speed he would have an easier time with floyd's speedy hands.

but i think he want to spar for reveange you know what i mean

but i guess it could help alittle but Mayweather speed is a stop and wait and takes his time to see where his punchs goes e****ally for big opponents and Pac is tornado throwing many combos which is different.

and there style is different .

i guess he is going with roach more for interst rather than Roach because there is alot of talented fighters in the wild gym and he want couple of them :d

This is actually a copy and paste from another thread where I commented on this.

I like the choice of Freddy Roach. The only better choice would have been Emmanuel Steward, but the problem with that is both Klitschko and Taylor have big fights scheduled and coming up soon.

The reason why Steward would have been a great choice is because fighters often come to him a bit later in their career after they have already developed, looking to improve a bit or prepare for a big fight. Steward is experienced with those situations, and would have a good grasp on things like how much he could change with De La Hoya and stuff like that. Plus Steward has worked with De La Hoya before and they had a lot of success. I guess the problem is that he is so good that everyone goes to him so he is already really busy.

Roach has done great work with all of his guys and it seems like they all improve when he begins training them. Plus Paquiao and Toney are both kind of in limbo now and don't have anything coming up in the immediate future, so Roach has the time to prepare De La Hoya.
