even oscar admits he lost to mosley the first time, by the way 4 of oscar's wins were considered gifts or very close decisions.

I'll go with De La Hoya. Just for the simple fact that he fought Hopkins. Floyd hasn't faced anyone as good as Hopkins.

This isn't even a valid question. Oscar has the better resume. But then again, he has the best resume of any active fighter.

Oh, and you don't know what happend to Chico? Floyd happened!

Yeah he was all ****ed up. They said he was going through personal problems at the time. Not to discredit Mayweather because he was great that night. Chico wasn't going to quit but his corner waived him off. He was ****ing pissed I think he started cussing his dad out.

Nah, he had personal problems at the time, but do you think that it would have been ANY different on ANY night? Not unless he took steroids for that glass chin.

hmm. oscar fought legends, but beat only a few.

floyd beat the best of his day, but he didnt beat legends.

                  IMO these are the records:

                  Oscar De La Hoya:

                  TKO2 Leija
                  TKO4 Chavez
                  TKO8 Chavez
                  W12 Whitaker (questionable)
                  W12 Quartey (questionable)
                  L12 Trinidad (questionable)
                  L12 x2 Mosley (2nd one is questionable)
                  TKO5 Gatti
                  W12 Castillejo
                  TKO12 Vargas
                  TKO by 9 Hopkins
                  TKO6 Mayorga

                  vs

                  Floyd Mayweather Jr:

                  TKO9 Agustus
                  TKO10 Corrales
                  W12 Hernandez
                  TKO9 J. Chavez
                  W12 x2 Castillo (1st one is questionable)
                  TKO6 Gatti
                  W12 Judah
                  W12 Baldomir

oscar faced legends, but lost to most. floyd beat the best of his day, but not legends.

its a matter of opinion, but i think oscar's record will stand the test of time. not to say floyd's record wont, but floyd's opposition wasnt as good as oscar's.

i think i would of been somewhat different if corrales had his mind clear or at least showed that he wanted to fight
