Sum peeps did get a bit carried away huh! Ive always thought he was an animal, Try and catch sum more of his fights, he had alot of skill aswell as that power the man could box! Forget the opponents name but G man scores my fav ever KO, The guy just drops like a ton of **** when Gman lands a right flush on the jaw, then freezes on the ground with his arms stickin up and an insane look on his face, its class!

your just being ****** now as i said benn won almost all of the rounds after round 1.
Why would you assume the accidental headbutt caused the injury? why not all those rights and lefts he was taking?Comment

1. gman was a sadistic piece of ****
2. gman was one of the most powerful punching MW ever
3. gman fell in love with his power and started fighting undisciplinately (no defense, no body attack, no manny...), just like foreman, tyson, tito and many other ****ers. at that point his career he was ready to meet his master, which would have been a smart boxer, just like foreman, tyson and tito did. instead he met one of the toughest fighters ever and a bad ref
4. in the benn fight the ref ****** ass: the count in the 1st round, the rabbit punches, th headbutt...
5. combining the jackson fight and the benn fight gman also ate a lot of hard, legitimate shots
6. p4p jackson hit harder IMOComment

There's no problem with Benn getting credit for winning the McClellan fight as he deserves credit!!! Yes he was behind on points when he stopped McClellan, but he was fighting a guy that no one (including myself) gave him a chance of winning, and those chances became even slimmer after he was put through the ropes in the first round! However, he came back from that, and another knock down later, and engaged McClellan in a war that he really didn't want to be in, and in doing so he gained a lot of praise from all the experts who had given him absolutely no chance of winning. How you can state that Benn really lost a fight that he deserves acclaim for winning is beyond me. Yes, the clash of heads aided to McClellans downfall, and yes, the referee was terribly inept, but no, Benn never really lost the fight... It was the biggest win of his career! Nothing can be taken away from him IMO.Comment

The accidental clash of heads allegedly triggered the brain injury, and McClellan was said to be in the throes of that injury from round 4 onwards. That's a testament to the guys bravery!
It's a fact that McClellan was ahead on the judges scorecards at the time of the stoppage, therefore, Benn couldn't have won all the rounds after round 1, but he did win the fight and that was some achievement, which is contrary to what has been posted on this thread.Comment
